Who We Are
We strive to be helpful to independent Baptist pastors who believe in speaking the truth in love, but still speak the truth.
Jesus said His yoke is easy and His burden is light. We desire to help independent Baptist pastors who recognize that the heavy burden of salvation by works is to be resisted whatever the cost.
Jesus said that it is the truth that will make us free. Being in bondage to legalism means that there is an element of truth missing from what we believe. We oppose legalism as well as "license to sin".
Although this site belongs to the Webmaster personally, he does not desire total control over views that are published here. To be fair to the differing views that are commonly among us, he binds himself to the following two principles:
1. He does not presume to speak for anyone but himself.
2. Among those who agree with our doctrinal statement, there will be a wide variety of views on many topics. We will publish those views even when we believe them to be innaccurate. Usually we will publish articles by providing a link to the writer's website.
